Membership Options

Pre-requisite for Open Studio:
Prior completion of at least one session of classes or passes is necessary to join this membership.

Base Membership

  • No monitors or staff are present.

  • Flexible access. 7 to 10 time slots to choose from each week.

  • Communal storage shelves for greenware, bisque, and glaze

  • Communal bin to store clay

Package Options:

  • 1 month: Includes 5 x 4.5hr. studio sign-up visits - $225+hst  

  • 3 months: Includes 15 x 4.5hr. studio sign-up visits - $675+hst  

Premium Membership

  • No monitors or staff are present.

  • Flexible access. 7 to 10 time slots to choose from each week.

  • 1 shelf for greenware, bisque, and glaze

  • 1 shelf for clay + tools

Package Options:

  • 6 months: 35 x 4.5 studio sign-up visits - $1,350+hst   
    (Bonus 5 extra sessions!)

Differences between Memberships.

  • One-Month Membership:
    5 studio sign-up visits of 4.5 hours each to be used within the month with no carryover option.

    Three-Month and Six-Month Membership:
    Offers flexibility to use more than 5 visits in a single month or spread them out as desired.

  • One-month members:
    Additional visits cannot be purchased.

    Three-Month Membership Exclusive:
    Purchase up to 2 additional open studio visits of 4.5 hours each at $35+hst.

    Six-Month Membership Exclusive:
    No limit on purchasing additional open studio visits of 4.5 hours each at $35+hst.

  • With all memberships, unused sign-ups expire at the end of the respective membership period.

    For members who are not renewing, there is a one-time option to carry over 1 unused sign up or purchase one additional glazing-only session for $40 + HST. This session can be scheduled when within one month after all bisque-fired items are ready. To qualify, there must be a minimum two-month gap before rejoining.

Rules & Responsibilities

  • 1.) Remove any debris from the sink screens.

    2.) Decant the water in the buckets on the floor and in the sink, as well as any water left in the mop buckets

    • Make sure to keep your shelf area clean. Wipe down the outside cloth when it gets dirty. Pass the mop under your ware and clay shelf.

    • Rinse the glaze mats after usage. Place the extra stainless steel bowl by the red recycle bowl in the sink to catch the glaze runoff. Decant into the red recycle bowl first if necessary.

    • If your shelf is full, you must glaze and stop producing to keep the rotation of the firing in sequence.

    • The last person to mop is to decant mop water into the sink and the dirtiest water from it into the floor buckets.

    • Check that all wheels are turned off.

    • Check that the air conditioning is turned off.

    • Check that all doors are locked and windows are closed.

    • Check that all equipment is in the proper places, tables and counters are wiped, and glaze bins are covered.

    • Turn off the lights except for the one by the entrance to the door.

    • Wheels and work tables are first come first serve.

Clean-Up is Essential: Cleaning is part of every pass and open studio session. Please set aside at least 30 minutes for cleanup, especially if you’ve used a wheel..

    • Creative Community: Sharing ideas, techniques, and tips is encouraged! However, offer feedback only when requested—keep the studio a supportive and inspiring space.

    • Shared Audio Devices: Be mindful and seek group consensus when using the radio, speakers, or Chromecast on the TV.

    • Keep Calls Considerate: For long or loud conversations, step outside or to the back to minimize distractions.

    • Use Headphones for Media: Watching instructional videos? Use headphones to keep the space quiet for others.

    • Respect Headphone Use: If someone has headphones on, they’re likely focused on their work—don’t take it personally if they’re not engaging.
